- Structure
- PET film / aluminum foil / PET film / modified cryogenic acrylic adhesive
- Temperature range
- 4K-393K continuous / 423K short-term
- Total thickness
- 0.078 mm
- Roll length
- 50 m
- Maximum standard width
- 50 mm
- Recommended vacuum condition
- Tape is a localized assembly accessory, not a vacuum barrier or vacuum rating. Adhesive outgassing, coverage, substrate preparation, cure / dwell, and compatibility with the project's pressure and cleanliness limits require review.
- Thermal performance
- No apparent thermal-conductivity or heat-flux value is assigned to the tape alone. Tape coverage, overlap, thickness, and conductive bridging can affect the complete insulation assembly and must be included in system testing.
- Width and roll options
- Roll widths, lengths, liner options, and custom slitting are confirmed by RFQ. Specify finished width, length, core, winding direction, and any clean packaging requirement.
- Layer configuration options
- Single tape construction supplied in rolls. Overlap, number of wraps, fixing interval, and edge-finishing pattern are installation variables defined by the project.
- Processing options
- Custom slitting and rewinding
- Cut lengths and project kit packaging by agreement
- Pairing with CryoMLI and CryoFiG material packages
- Typical applications
- Notes and limitations
- Adhesion depends on substrate, preparation, pressure, dwell time, temperature, contamination, and thermal cycling.
- Not a structural fastener, pressure seal, electrical qualification, or guaranteed low-outgassing solution without project testing.
- Minimize tape area over MLI where unnecessary conductive paths or layer compression could be introduced.
